Sizes Available
| Size | Common Use |
|---|---|

| 600 x 600mm | Smaller patios, pathways |
| 600 x 450mm / 600 x 400mm | Mixed-pattern patio packs |
| 600 x 290mm / 300 x 600mm | Pathways, borders, coping |

| 600 x 1200mm | Large-format commercial paving |
Most residential patios are supplied as a mixed-size pack (a blend of the sizes above in a set ratio) rather than a single uniform size, since this is what gives a patio its natural, non-repetitive laid pattern. Single-size runs are also available for pathways, borders, or commercial projects where a uniform grid is wanted instead.

Thickness
12mm, 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, 25mm, and 30mm, with 22mm calibrated being the standard specification for most UK and European patio projects. Thicker cuts (25-30mm) are used for driveways and areas with vehicle load; thinner cuts suit lightweight or overlay applications. Custom thickness available on request for container-quantity orders.
Finishes
Natural (Riven): The raw, split surface straight from the quarry, textured and non-slip. The most popular finish for a traditional, relaxed patio look.
Sandblasted: A more even, matte texture achieved by blasting the surface with abrasive sand, slightly smoother than natural riven while keeping slip resistance.
Honed: Ground to a smooth, flat matte finish, suited to a more contemporary patio design.
Sawn / Smooth: Machine-cut flat surface, giving the cleanest, most uniform look of the four, generally chosen for modern or minimalist outdoor spaces.
Related Formats
Beyond flat paving slabs, the same stone is also available as cobbles and edging (typically 100x100mm to 100x200mm), driveway setts in calibrated thickness packs for vehicle areas, step units, wall coping, and circle kits for a curved patio feature. These are generally quoted alongside a main paving order rather than as separate purchases, since matching stone tone across the full project matters more than sourcing pieces individually.
